Salesforce, the leading cloud-based software company, recently partnered with the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Central Visayas Region to introduce a new program that aims to integrate Salesforce’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform into the curriculum of 3rd year and 4th year IT and Business students.
The program, called the Salesforce Academic Alliance, will provide IT and Business students with hands-on experience in using Salesforce’s CRM platform, which is widely used by businesses around the world. The curriculum may cover topics such as sales automation, marketing automation, customer service, analytics, and app development.
The aim of the program is to prepare IT students for internship and job placement at partner companies that use Salesforce’s CRM platform. By integrating Salesforce into the curriculum, students will have a better understanding of how the platform works and how it can be used to improve business processes and customer interactions.
During the event, which was attended by IT and computer science educators from across the region, Salesforce representatives explained the capabilities of the CRM platform and highlighted the benefits of incorporating it into the IT curriculum. They also discussed the growing demand for IT professionals who have experience with Salesforce and the potential career opportunities that exist in the industry.
“By partnering with PSITE, we hope to provide IT students with the skills and experience they need to be successful in the workforce,” said a Salesforce representative. “Our CRM platform is used by businesses of all sizes and industries, so the opportunities for career growth are limitless.”
The IT industry is constantly evolving, and it is our responsibility as educators to ensure that our students are equipped with the latest tools and technologies. We are excited to work with Salesforce to integrate their CRM platform into our curriculum and prepare our students for the workforce.
The curriculum integration of the Salesforce’s customer relationship management platform is now available to all PSITE member institutions in Central Visayas who are willing partner with them.
